Halfway

Well, we are already almost halfway through the season and NUFC have had a good start to life in the Championship. We have not given up enough of our time and attention to the blog, but maybe we can do it as a New Year's resolution! We have had some fruitless trips to Scunthorpe, Nottingham, and Blackpool, picking up no points in those three games, and managed only a draw in front of nearly 7000 travelling fans at Barnsley. However, Newcastle still remain top of the Championship at the start of the New Year with an immensely important home game against West Brom on the 18th Jan.
